Sony Ericsson C902 Versus Sony Ericsson K850i
Another in the series that is looking at different mobile phones and comparing them to help you the consumer decide which would be best for you. Now we will be comparing the Sony Ericsson C902 against the Sony Ericsson K850i.First let's look at the C902 mobile phone; it's a very thin and sleek looking mobile phone that weighs in at 107 grams. It comes in three colours, swift black, cinnamon bronze, and titanium silver. The camera is one of the best available in mobile phones today at 5 megapixels, with auto focus, 16 x zoom, photo blogging, and even photo flash. In fact this is a mobile phone that is in the cybershot series of phones that was created by Ericsson for people who love to take pictures, and want to be able to have great pictures taken with their mobile phones.
The Sony Ericsson K850i is an awesome mobile phone, again thin and sleek like the other mobile it has a weight of 118 grams, which is still nice and light. There are colours of luminous green, velvet blue, and quicksilver black. Also a member of the cybershot family this will provide you with awesome pictures too.
Really when comparing these two mobile phones you have pretty much the same phone and it's hard to say that there would be any clear winner in a decision. You will have to decide on the colour choices and the mobile phone deal you may be able to get from a mobile phone company for signing up for a year or two service. At times these deals can leave you with a great phone that you've paid very little for.
The Sony Ericsson C902 weighs a bit less but not that much as compared to the Sony Ericsson K850i. Both phones have a great camera which is fair to say about any of the phones that Sony created under the cybershot name!
The colours are more of a highlighted colour than an overall colour, so you might want to keep that in mind. It's not like you get a luminous green phone, it's just a strip of it that is that colour and a small outlined area on the face. So if colour is your deciding factors make sure you go online to see exactly what they look like. It's a cool looking phone, but there are others that are much bolder in colour. Of course when making these phones it's a sure thing that Sony was more interested in making a mobile phone that had great technology and not worry about the colours!
So go to a mobile phone company and see if they can get you either of these two phones to see if they will give you a great mobile phone deal and if they will then your decision will have to be made. But in the long run neither of these mobile phones sticks out more than the other one. So choose either the Sony Ericsson C902 or Sony Ericsson K850i and you'll be happy.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1:
The XPERIA is a new brand of mobile phones from Sony Ericsson, much like their CyberShot or Walkman branded phones. While those brands define themselves, the XPERIA brand name is derived from the word experience. This new brand will showcase a range of premium phones converging Web communication and multimedia entertainment. The XPERIA range will be Sony Ericsson's trump card to stand out from the many phones proclaiming an entertaining and feature-rich Web package.
XPERIA is Better? How?
What does the XPERIA X1 in reality have to offer? For now only, the specifications of the XPERIA X1 are in place. And this brings us to the first shock wave -- its OS. For the first time in the history of Sony Ericsson handsets, we'll see a handset that sports the Windows Mobile OS. It so surprised me at first that I thought it was a really bad idea to have Windows Mobile as OS.However, on seeing the official video, I had to reconsider what I'd thought before. I also recollected my experiences with the HTC Touch and Dual Touch which added the icing on the cake. Now, Windows Interface isn't going to change drastically for just a phone; however, I hope by the time Windows Mobile closes on to version 7, we'll have a complete facelift like a Vista from XP with far better optimization. The XPERIA X1 will be the first handset to come with a Windows Mobile version 6.1; however, this is yet to be officially confirmed on the Windows Mobile site. The XPERIA X1 has a powerful Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor with a 128MB of RAM and 256 MB of internal storage. User storage space of 400 MB has also been provided. Surprisingly, it also sports a microSD flash card slot as compared to proprietary M2 flash memory support.

Ericsson inks $1.5 billion mobile deals in China
Wireless infrastructure specialist Ericsson has won two major deals with Chinese operators -- China Mobile and China Unicom -- in total worth nearly $1.5 bn to the Swedish group.
Separately, Ericsson has also signed a GSM expansion framework agreement with China Mobile valued at $1.3 bn and another with China Unicom valued at around $140 million The expansion projects are set to be completed in 2008.
Together, China Mobile and China Unicom provide mobile services to about 550 million subscribers. The expansion projects will allow both operators to boost their network capacity and performance.
Under the framework deal with China Mobile, Ericsson will be one of the main suppliers of core and radio network equipment, along with related technical support and services, to expand GSM/GPRS coverage and capacity in 19 regions across China.
Suppliers are still waiting for China to sign 3G license agreements with the country's major operators, and have been for over three years.
Earlier this month, the country moved a step closer to commercializing its home grown 3G technology, with the revelation that the country's leading operator is to trial TD-SCDMA services.
