CECT A380i Accessories - Becoming Readily Available and Currently Very Inexpensive

It's very interesting to watch the evolution of the iPhone clones. The CECT A380i has become a stand out among the shake and tilt models. I think that this is because many people prefer a stylus with their mobile phone, and the 380 is among the few full sized models that have it.As this phone becomes mainstream and more and more popular, accessories and extras are beginning to become widely available for it. I predict this will continue and accelerate as more consumers become owners of this very user friendly and economical unlocked phone. As you might expect on a clone, the price for its accessories are very low. So, there's absolutely no reason for any one to hesitate buying a clone thinking they can't set it up, read the instructions, or obtain accessories for a Chinese import. I understand these hesitations and I am asked about them all the time, but they aren't true. There are guides, set up instructions, and manuals in just about any language you can imagine for almost all of the carriers. Below are some of the more popular accessories and an estimate of their costs.

Today, you can get guides for networks like AT&T, T Mobile, and Cingular, to name only a few. These typically come in both PDF (e-book) and software formats and run between $5 and $10. There are also specific MMS setup manuals as well.

Memory / Sim Cards: The 380 is dual sim and has expandable memory, so you may well need extras for it. These are easily available and generally under $10.

Replacement Batteries: One really huge selling point with the clones is that you don't have to run to the dealer every time the battery dies. You can easily change it yourself. The batteries on this shake and tilt model run around $5.

Cases And Skins: Right now, the cases and skins offered are generally basic black or neutral colors with common textures like leather, silicone, and plastic. However, I predict that shortly this will expand as sellers pick up on the demand for additional choices. The cases run around $5.

Data Cable: Users sync information between the phone and their computer via data cable. These usually come with the phone, but if you need a spare, they're readily available for just a few bucks.

Stereo Head Sets / Ear Phones: Since one big draw of the A380i is listening to music on the phone's very sharp, loud speakers, stereo head sets and ear phones have rolled out in record speed for this model. They are about $10 and up, depending on the quality you are looking for.
